New targets for the energy efficiency of buildings
As part of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, the EU has adopted a new climate target for 2030: According to this, the Union wants to reduce its net greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 compared to the base year 1990. Part of the so-called “Fit for 55” package is the European Building Efficiency Directive (EPBD), which was published in the Official Journal of the European Union a few days ago and will come into force on May 28, 2024. The EPBD sets ambitious targets for the energy efficiency of buildings, including a reduction in the energy consumption of residential buildings by an average of 16% by 2030 and by 20 to 22% by 2035.
To achieve these goals, energy-efficient chassis for HVAC systems can play a crucial role. RUCH NOVAPLAST products offer not only the highest quality and reliability, but also remarkable energy efficiency. By using innovative materials and technologies, our chassis help to significantly reduce energy consumption in buildings, which in turn contributes to a reduction in CO₂ emissions.
We can also use our product carbon footprint calculator to calculate the CO₂ emissions for various molded parts and thus help companies achieve their sustainability goals.
