RUCH NOVAPLAST aims to be largely climate-neutral by 2030
RUCH NOVAPLAST has set itself ambitious goals: We want to be largely climate-neutral by 2030. To achieve this goal, we are continuously increasing the use of renewable raw materials and recycled plastics in order to fulfill our responsibility towards future generations.
We are already using innovative technologies such as a micro gas turbine: since 2020, we have been generating 60% of our electrical energy requirements ourselves and saving around 25% fossil fuel by means of combined heat and power with steam generation. We purchase the rest as emission-free, regional green electricity.
Our industrial waste heat not only heats our office buildings, but also neighboring companies. We are also working on pioneering projects such as the complete recycling of materials, the storage of waste heat in latent heat storage units and a complete process chain for the production of up to 100% EPP particle foams from recycled EPP (rEPP).
Even small steps count: from our tree planting campaigns to Fairtrade coffee in the canteen – every contribution brings us closer to our goal of shaping a sustainable future.

Our commitment to sustainability is confirmed by DIN ISO 14001 certification in environmental management and ISO 50001 certification in energy management. The focus is on the continuous improvement of energy efficiency in order to save resources sustainably.
This starts with reducing electricity consumption and extends from careful planning and development to a conscious energy purchasing strategy.
