In everyday life as well as in amateur and high-performance sport, the safety of athletes is of the utmost importance. The use of head and body protection, such as helmets and back protectors, is recommended or even mandatory in many disciplines. The protectors must not only guarantee optimum impact protection, but also allow a high degree of freedom of movement and sufficient ventilation.

Head protection: maximum impact protection for maximum safety in sport
No compromises when it comes to protecting life and limb. Especially in the area of head protection, the materials and technologies used must meet the highest requirements. At RUCH NOVAPLAST, we focus on innovation and quality: our specially developed crash elements made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP) offer exceptional impact protection and thus ensure maximum safety in sport.
The highly functional inner helmet shell that we develop for head protection is characterized by a multi-part structure that is specifically designed to optimize shock absorption properties. Molded parts with different densities achieve better force absorption and distribution, ensuring maximum safety. In addition, the intelligent segmentation enables effective ventilation without compromising the protective properties. The products not only offer excellent impact protection, but also comfort and flexibility.
If you wish, we can also attach additional interior components to the inner shell of the helmet and carry out further assembly steps in our assembly and finishing center.
Body protection: maximum safety thanks to innovative protectors
Safety in sport should always come first – especially in disciplines where falls and collisions are common. The right body protection plays a crucial role in protecting athletes from injury. Our innovative protectors offer targeted impact protection by protecting important areas of the body such as the spine from shocks and impacts without restricting freedom of movement.
The key to our successful body protection lies in the outstanding impact protection properties of the materials. Our back protectors are made of highly compressed EPP foam, which absorbs up to 95% of the impact energy. The result is maximum impact protection combined with an extremely lightweight and flexible design.
A new, environmentally friendly process in the field of body protection is the 2-component sandwich construction: we shape the EPP beads used under high pressure and with the help of steam and simultaneously bond them to the backing layer – without the use of any additional adhesives. This process is completely solvent-free and therefore very skin- and environmentally friendly.
Our molded parts are used in Formula 1
Our innovative molded parts are also used in Formula 1, where they ensure maximum protection and performance. For example, we supply the inner helmet shells for the renowned SCHUBERTH motorsport helmets, which have been equipping top drivers in Formula 1, IndyCar and other top series with the most advanced technology and maximum safety for over 20 years.
The helmets are characterized by their low weight, solid construction and superior safety.
